BARAMATI (HAVELINAMA ONLINE) International Runner and Baramati Taluka Sports Officer Jagannath Khandu Lakde promoted to Latur District Sports Officer.
A resident of Karanjepul, Someshwarnagar and an Indian medalist in the Asian Games, Subhedar Lakde has served as Taluka Sports Officer in Mumbai, Andheri, Kurla, Bhor Velhe, Purandar and Baramati talukas for the last six years.
He has been selected as the District Sports Officer of Latur due to his experience and marks in the examinations held for the post of District Sports Officer last year. Maharashtra Deputy Secretary Swati Nanal has announced the promotion of 14 sports officers in the state on the basis of seniority and quality as per the Governor’s order.
Jagannath Lakde is the only District Sports Officer from Baramati to be selected. His selection is being congratulated at various levels.
