At Theur, one of the Ashtavinayak shrines, Ganesha devotees are always flocking to Shri Chintamani Darshan, mainly on the day of Sankashti Chaturthi and Angarika Chaturthi. Chintamani’s priest Rajendra Aglave opened the temple for darshan at 5 in the morning after performing Maha Puja, again increased the number of devotees.
As usual, Hari Kirtan of Anil Maharaj Narke was performed at 8 pm and after the moonrise, the image of Shri was taken out in “palkhi” and after that Mahaprasada was distributed to the devotees on behalf of Theur villagers.
